You will be canoeing the Colorado River near Grand Junction, Colorado, and setup camp along the river’s banks and exploring a deep box canyon that will leave you awed by the immensity of geologic time and the silence of the wilderness. This Colorado River canoe trip is 26 miles.

NOTE: Once you sign up for an activity you will receive emails from "Up The Creek Ski & Rec Club" and/or "ClubExpress Support" depending on the situation.  Make sure you add these to your contacts or review your spam/junk folder often for them.  Please review the following on how to make payments for a trip.   TRIP PAYMENTS

TRIP INCLUDES:

This spectacular canyon country of the Colorado Plateau, including Ruby and Horsethief Canyons, features majestic walls of red sandstone and offers some of the best canoeing in Colorado.

 - Guides, Canoes and Equipment on the river.  Bring your own tents and camping gear OR you can rent these supplies
  - All Meals, picnic lunched, drinks and happy hours by the river
 - Campfires 

BASIC AGENDA
Friday, June 9th - 5 hr drive from Denver (we will chat about car-pooling) ...Optional camping/boondock at Rabbit Valley as a group or stay individually at a motel in Fruita, CO (not included in price) as we need to be at the put-in early in the morning at 7am.

Saturday, June 10th - Everyone at the put-in site @ 7am for put-in and canoeing along the river into our camp-site for the evening.

Sunday, June 11th - At campsite for fun, hiking, etc.

Monday, June 12th - Canoe back out of campsite along the river to the pull - out site. Possible optional camping/motel with the group - TBD later at your own cost.

TRIP PRICING:

 $100 deposit is required at time of trip registration.
 50% of balance is due 75 days from trip start.
 50% of balance is due 30 days from trip start

Cancellation Policy:
Up the Creek Ski and Recreation Club (“UTC”) has a No Refund Policy for events/trips/activities.

Exceptions to this policy are granted as follows:

[* Medical, injury or death]: A personal medical condition or injury to you with a doctor’s involvement; death in the immediate family (parents, siblings, children, grandparents, NOTE: pets DO NOT count). The registrant cancelling must be able to provide relevant documentation regarding the injury, medical condition or death to obtain a full cancellation refund;

[* The trip is cancelled]: In some circumstances a trip will be cancelled for all registrants. NOTE: If the venue cancels the trip then UTC must receive its refund from the venue before they can issue refunds.

[* Someone cancels for any other reason]: In this case an exception is granted ONLY if the cancelled spot is filled. In the case where a cancelled spot is filled, a $50 service charge is applied against the refund.

If you cancel in the seven days prior to the trip start date, you will only be eligible for a refund if the cancellation is due to injury/illness/death and you have provided the proper documentation to the Trip Leader.

You MUST go through your trip leader/host to cancel and seek reimbursement. If you meet the refund requirements, UTC will refund the credit card used for the trip/event payment for the amount that you paid minus any applicable service fee. Please allow up to thirty (30) days from the event/trip/activity end date for any refund checks, credit card refunds, or comps to be issued. Cancellations are typically processed in the order received.

[*] Under no circumstances may a participant advertise their trip for sale.
