Trip Itinerary


Friday June 3 (*** 2nd Night Option ***):

* 12:00 noon – Garden of the Gods, TBD where to meet
* 3:00 pm – Check into The Villa Hotel” and get your parking pass, 481 Manitou Ave.
* 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm - Meet for Happy Hour at Swirl Wine Bar…Pub Crawl & Dance Bands

Saturday June 4:

* 8:00 am Meet in lobby to go to the Red Mountain Trail Hike (2.5 miles)
* Tickets (included) to the “Manitou Springs Colorado Wine Festival” (11:00am to 5pm)
   All-you-can drink wine at Memorial Park, 502 Manitou Park (If you are checked into the motel and have a parking pass, you can leave your car and we will walk over.  Otherwise, you will need to find other parking.)
         - Admission to wine tastings - Unlimited tastings from Colorado Wineries
         - Commemorative Wine Festival Wine Glass and 6 Bottle Wine Tote
         - Live Music, food & gift vendors (food not included in trip price)
* 3:00 - 5:30 pm - Check-In at “The Villa Hotel” for the one night option Swimming Pool & Hot Tub
* 5:30 pm Group Dinner at Mona Lisa’s (most folks will probably eat at the Wine Festival)
* 7:30 pm Melodrama Only at “Iron Springs Chateau Melodrama Theater. 
      - Our included theater tickets DO NOT include the optional dinner
      - The theatre doors open at 7:30 p.m. and show begins at 8:00 p.m.

Sunday June 5:
* 8:30 am - Meet at Uncle Sam’s Pancake House for Breakfast
* 10:15 am arrive at Cog Railway. Train Departs precisely at 10:40 am Enjoy round  trip (3.5 hours) on “The Broadmoor Manitou and Pikes Peak Cog Railway” 515 Ruxton Ave https://www.cograilway.com (tickets included)

ROOMMATE DISCLAIMER:
Double occupancy is standard on all trips. UTC attempts to honor roommate and rooming requests, but they are not guaranteed. Final room assignments are at the trip leader(s) discretion as room assignment changes may be required up to the time of trip departure. In some instances, trip participants may be assigned to room with a person they do not know, or may have to share a bed with a person they do not know of the same sex. If you do not wish to share a room or bed, single rooms may be available at additional cost. There may be instances when a trip participant must pay for single occupancy in order to go on the trip. Please check with the trip leader(s) for more information.

Cancellation Policy:
Up the Creek Ski and Recreation Club (“UTC”) has a No Refund Policy for events/trips/activities.

Exceptions to this policy are granted as follows:

[* Medical, injury or death]: A personal medical condition or injury to you with a doctor’s involvement; death in the immediate family (parents, siblings, children, grandparents, NOTE: pets DO NOT count). The registrant cancelling must be able to provide relevant documentation regarding the injury, medical condition or death to obtain a full cancellation refund;

[* The trip is cancelled]: In some circumstances a trip will be cancelled for all registrants. NOTE: If the venue cancels the trip then UTC must receive its refund from the venue before they can issue refunds.

[* Someone cancels for any other reason]: In this case an exception is granted ONLY if the cancelled spot is filled. In the case where a cancelled spot is filled, a $50 service charge is applied against the refund.

If you cancel in the seven days prior to the trip start date, you will only be eligible for a refund if the cancellation is due to injury/illness/death and you have provided the proper documentation to the Trip Leader.

You MUST go through your trip leader/host to cancel and seek reimbursement. If you meet the refund requirements, UTC will refund the credit card used for the trip/event payment for the amount that you paid minus any applicable service fee. Please allow up to thirty (30) days from the event/trip/activity end date for any refund checks, credit card refunds, or comps to be issued. Cancellations are typically processed in the order received.

[*] Under no circumstances may a participant advertise their trip for sale.
[*] Only your trip leader/host can fill your spot.
