Bogan Flats is a part of the White River National Forest near Carbondale and Marble Colorrado. It's a 3.5 hour drive from Golden. I've reserved a group campsite that will accomodate up to 10 vehicles and 25 people. This is a developed but primitive campsite that has a valt toilet, fresh water spigot, shade, and is right on the banks of the Crystal River. There are no showers or hookups for your camper so you should be self sufficient. Trailers and RV's are limited to 30 feet. Tents camping is OK.
Local attractions include The Crystal Mill and Slow Groovin BBQ in the town of Marble (the best BBQ in Colorado). There is also hiking, fishing, biking, and maybe kayaking (I'm not sure of how fast the river runs). This is a very beautiful part of the state.
This camping trip starts on a Monday and ends on Thursday so you may need time off from work but it's well worth it!
Based on 10 campers, this trip will cost $50 per person. If we get 20 campers, the cost will be $25 per person. This is the cost to reserve the site. I'm not trying to make money on the trip. I just want fun people to join!
The minimum number of campers needed to make the trip happen is 10. This will cover the cost of the site. If I get less that 10 people by July 13th, I will cancel the trip. In order to be confirmed, you need to Venmo me $50.00. Get in touch with me for my Venmo account. If we get more than 10 campers, I'll refund part of your $50. (the cost is $500 / number of campers). If I have to cancel the trip, I'll refund your entire payment.

Well behaved dogs on leash are welcome!
Campfires and charcoal fires are not allowed due to a stage 2 fire restriction. Porpane camp stoves are allowed.
