Please review the following on how to make payments for a trip. TRIP PAYMENTS
TRIP INCLUDES:
AS OF DECEMBER 10, 2025 WE ARE LOWERING THE TRIP PRICE TO $800 FOR DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, $1454 FOR SINGLE OCCUPANCY, MEMBER PRICE. WE ARE CANCELING THE SUNDAY NIGHT DINNER & DANCE AT THE ICE HOUSE AND REPLACING IT WITH A POT LUCK DINNER IN ONE OF THE CONDOS. ALSO, THE THURSDAY NIGHT WELCOME PIZZA PARTY WILL BE IN ONE OF THE CONDOS. FOOD ALL PROVIDED, BYOB.
The trip still includes:
5 days and 4 nights lodging at the luxurious TRAPPEUR'S CROSSING RESORT, with complimentary shuttle service to and from the mountain and town. These condos are located just a short shuttle ride away from the gondola base area. We will be staying in three and four bedroom condos. Parking is very limited at these condos (one reserved spot per condo) so we are including The Party Bus transportation to and from Steamboat in the trip pricing. - We have three and four bedroom condos booked, these are great luxurious condos complete with full kitchens. The bedding is a mixture of King, Queen, Twin, and Bunk beds. If you sign up for double occupancy you will be sharing your room with a person of your choice. If you don’t have a roommate in mind we can help you find someone. We will have a pre-trip meeting 2 weeks before the trip starts to match up potential roommates. Or, you can book a Single occupancy room for an additional cost. Charter Bus transportation to Steamboat and back is included in the trip price. We leave on the Thursday morning at 8:30 am from Wooly Mammoth park-n-ride. Please see the additional webpage for more details.
- Complimentary THURSDAY evening WELCOME PIZZA PARTY / HAPPY HOUR from 4:00 PM until 7:30 PM in one of the trip condos. Hosted by your Trip Leaders. Includes Pizza with Gluten-free options, salad, snacks, and desert. Please bring your favorite adult beverage or soft drinks in a small cooler to this party.
-New this year: Sunday night we will have a final night in Steamboat dinner party in one of the condos starting at 5:00 PM. This will be a pot luck dinner, bring a food dish to share for 4 servings and your favorite adult beverage.
UTC will have 7 parking passes available for anyone that wants to drive up, reserve your parking pass on the “Parking Pass event”. Once the parking passes are sold out, you will be required to park off-site, which could be as much as $50 per night.
To sign up for a parking pass, click on the “parking pass” icon below the Steamboat tip on the event calendar. If the passes are all sold out add your name to the waitlist.

The Timber and Torch Restaurant is also located in Gondola Square, a short 10-15 minute walk from Trappeur’s Lodge.
We have reservations for 60 people.
They have requested we arrive in groups of 6-8 people at 15-minute intervals.
The first group leaves Trappeur’s Clubhouse at 5:45 P.M.

ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES:
- Fun and Leisure. When it comes to either, Steamboat Springs has it all. Shopping, Restaurants, and Nightlife. No Shortage of things to do, see, and places to experience. Even if you are not a skier or only want to ski one or two days, there is so much to do and see! We usually have about eight to twelve non-skiers on our trip, so why not join us on the trip and explore some of these other great activities?
- Downtown Hot Springs: In town Hot Springs and Spa for about $18. Can take the shuttle from The Lodge or the free town bus to get there and back.
- Strawberry Hot Springs, County Road 36, Steamboat Springs, Colorodo. (info@strawberryhotspirngs.com) is about a 30 minute drive from the condos and blends the beautiful scenery with several thermal pools. Best Hot Springs in the state! Clothing is optional after dark and reservations are required! Telephone number 970-879-0342. There is a shuttle in Steamboat that will take you to the Springs for about $60 round trip. You can drive there, however, you are required to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle with snow tires and or chains (This is a Routt County Law.) Cost of the Hot Springs is $20, cash only, no credit cards.
- Downtown Steamboat: Lots of unique shops, excellent pubs, restaurants, nightlife, and more, just a short shuttle ride into town. Check out the iconic F.M. Light & Sons Western Wear store! Great for an evening or afternoon.

NOTE: If the choice to select Single Occupancy is not provided during registration, you must sign up a second time to get Single Occupancy. Any duplicated extra costs will be refunded.

ROOMMATE DISCLAIMER:
Double occupancy is standard on all trips. UTC attempts to honor roommate and rooming requests, but they are not guaranteed. Final room assignments are at the trip leader(s) discretion as room assignment changes may be required up to the time of trip departure. In some instances, trip participants may be assigned to room with a person they do not know, or may have to share a bed with a person they do not know of the same sex. If you do not wish to share a room or bed, single rooms may be available at additional cost. There may be instances when a trip participant must pay for single occupancy in order to go on the trip. Please check with the trip leader(s) for more information.

Cancellation Policy:
Up the Creek Ski and Recreation Club (“UTC”) has a No Refund Policy for events/trips/activities.
Exceptions to this policy are granted as follows:
[* Medical, injury or death]: A personal medical condition or injury to you with a doctor’s involvement; death in the immediate family (parents, siblings, children, grandparents, NOTE: pets DO NOT count). The registrant cancelling must be able to provide relevant documentation regarding the injury, medical condition or death to obtain a full cancellation refund;
[* The trip is cancelled]: In some circumstances a trip will be cancelled for all registrants. NOTE: If the venue cancels the trip then UTC must receive its refund from the venue before they can issue refunds.
[* Someone cancels for any other reason]: In this case an exception is granted ONLY if the cancelled spot is filled. In the case where a cancelled spot is filled, a cancellation fee is applied based on the price of the trip and the balance is refunded.
Trips priced at $500 or higher: $100 cancellation fee.
Trips priced from $200 to $499: $50 cancellation fee.
Trips price at $199 or lower: $25 cancellation fee.
If you cancel in the seven days prior to the trip start date, you will only be eligible for a refund if the cancellation is due to injury/illness/death and you have provided the proper documentation to the Trip Leader.
You MUST go through your trip leader/host to cancel and seek reimbursement. If you meet the refund requirements, UTC will refund the credit card used for the trip/event payment for the amount that you paid minus any applicable service fee. Please allow up to thirty (30) days from the event/trip/activity end date for any refund checks, credit card refunds, or comps to be issued. Cancellations are typically processed in the order received.

[*] Under no circumstances may a participant advertise their trip for sale.
