Phil Coomb’s birthday is Aug 22, so for Saturday Aug 21st, he has suggested going to see the tribute band Sons of Genesis who are playing at the Soiled Dove Underground. This is located directly underneath The Tavern in Lowry where we have had many a UTC happy hour -- it’s very easy to find and parking is generally good as there is a large parking lot. Tickets for the show are only $15 per person (plus $1.91 service charge) so very reasonable. Show starts at 8 pm and probably goes on for a couple of hours. But for those who are interested, we will meet at the Tavern bar and grill first for drinkies and vittles at 6 pm, then wander downstairs about 7:30 to find our seats for the show. Will set up a group reservation for dinner at the Tavern so if you want to join us for the dinner, please rsvp on the Up The Creek website. So that we can be more or less in the same area, Phil has suggested that we buy tickets on the right side of the map as you look at it. There are a few seats to be had on the Silver level (SL 242 - 248). Not far behind that are Tables from 350 Seat A to 356 D; and 341 A to 344 D.
