Up The Creek Ski & Rec Club's Annual "SUMMER WAKE" PICNIC PARTY on LABOR DAY, is Monday, September 5, 2018, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 P.M. at DeKoevend Park, 6301 South University Blvd, Centennial. We will be at Shelter A, which is at Southeast corner of park, next to the tennis courts.
A POT LUCK AFFAIR.
ADMISSION: FREE for Up The Creek DUES-PAYING CLUB MEMBERS, $10 for MEETUP MEMBERS & GUESTS, $3 for kids under 10. Cash at the door, no credit cards.
D.J. Dance Music will start right after the "Picnic Games". Volleyball will run all day long.
What to Bring:
If your First Name starts with the letter A to J, Bring a Desert.
First Name K to Q, Bring a Side-Dish.
First Name R to Z, .Bring a Salad.
Please bring your dish "Ready to Serve "Suggested Serving size 4 to 6 people.
We will be grilling hamburgers, hot dogs, vegi burgers, and bratwurst. There will be beer, wine, and soft drinks. Please bring plenty of water and any other beverage you would like.
If you bring a dog you must keep him/her on a leach at all times and you can't bring him/her into the pavilion where the food is! There will be a designated area for people with dogs.
NO GLASS CONTAINERS ALLOWED!
CONTEST FOR BEST DISH, BEST SALAD, BEST DESSERT! PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED! BRING SOFTBALL EQUIPMENT, FRISBEES, FOOTBALLS, BEANBAGS, VOLLEYBALLS, ETC. BRING PICNIC BLANKETS, CHAIRS.

Location of DeKoevend Park: On West side of University Blvd, 1/2 mi. North of Arapahoe Blvd., cross streets are University & Josephine. Limited parking is available on University Blvd., North of Arapahoe, approximately 1/2 mi. If this parking lot is full, follow directions to parking lot at Ice Arena. Directions for parking: Parking behind the Ice Arena is best. From University Blvd., go West 1/2 mi. on Arapahoe, at Vine St. (traffic light), make a right turn. Drive 1/2 mile, the Ice Arena will be on the right side. Pull into parking lot. Walk East. You will go over a walking bridge (Highline Canal). You will cross over another bridge. You will then see an open field, Shelter A is at Southeast corner of park, next to tennis courts.
