The Up the Creek membership dues calendar year runs annually from September 1st through August 31st. For the year starting Sept 1st 2011, renewing single members pay $52 per year and couples pay $98 per year, if you renew your membership before September 30, 2011. If you join part way through our calendar year, your membership is pro-rated to expire on August 31st. New single members pay at a rate of $8.00 plus $6.00 per month, and new couples $8.00 plus $10.00 per month, for the remaining months in a given membership calendar year, with a minimum new member charge of $26.00 for new single members and $38.00 for new couples. Membership dues include discounts on club trips and activities and the benefit of being on the Yahoo groups list. Non-members are also welcome to participate in any of our activities at higher entry fees. Here below is a brief summary of the benefits you receive when you become a full member of Up The Creek. You do not have to be a member to participate in any of our trips or events, but if you do attend our trips and events on a regular basis you might as join since members do enjoy a lower cost to participate. 1) UTC YahooGroups email list. This allows you to send and receive messages about all sorts of last minute events and activities. We have over 500 people on the group list and it is only available to members.2) A listing in the annual Membership Directory published Dec 1st of each year.3) You’re able to cast a vote for Board of Directors Elections.4) You can host a Happy Hour and volunteer to lead a trip or event.5) Free admittance the annual Summer Wake and Summer Bash Picnic Parties, reduced admittance fee to the following annual events:

* There is typically a 15% difference between the member and non-member trip selling price. A typical weekend ski trip will be around $200 for a member, $230 for non-members. If you attend a few annual events and a few weekend trips, your total cost of attending will be lower if you are a member.
