“She was always so welcoming and put my shy nature at ease. She was just so very, very sweet.   She put in many countless hours volunteering with Up the Creek and I never heard her complain.”

“When I think of her, I will always see that pretty smile that was there for everyone.”

“She always made me feel like a special friend.   I loved her and will miss her a lot.”

“My first encounter with you was how you took care of a bunch of us misfits over Thanksgiving at Snowmass.   I thank you for your service and commitment.   Enjoy all the fun the parties on the other side.”

“She golfed with us in the Monday night group.  We will miss her very much.”

“I’m glad for all the happy memories over the years that I’ll keep in my heart for as long as I’m here.”

“You all know Jacquie – for her tireless work for UTC, a great ski partner, trip leader and gracious and generous Bronco party giver! And always a great friend.”

“You only live once but if you do it right, once is enough” – Mae West

Jacquie lost her battle with cancer on August 17, 2017.   She was a long time member of Up the Creek and served as club Vice President for several years, making many friends and touching many lives along the way.

Below are tributes to her from some of our members.
